FIRST ANSWER

If new construction you need confer back to warranty contract from executed sales agreement. Builders may vary based on properties sold difficult for anyone make a statement on your behalf unless all paperwork signed at closing reviewed. Confer with builder, buyers agent, or real estate attorney.
