Please let me know what type of shops you are referring to.....the only regional mall in the area is the Towne Center Mall in Palm Desert near the intersection of Monterey and Hwy. 111. There are many other areas in the Coachella Valley that have neighborhood shopping and the ambiance of small restaurants and shops.

Palm Desert has most of the shopping if you consider the Westfield Shopping Center and El Paseo at the South end of town and Costco, Kohls, etc. at the North end. If you are a Palm Desert resident, you can play golf at Desert Willow for $45.00 per round.
