For resale you will want to check out Mira Vista of Behrens Ranch, Plantation, Oak Bluff Estates, and some areas of Forest Creek.

If you want high end for an exceptional value, I recommend Forest Creek Golf Course Community or Lake Forest, which is the neighboring community. I live in Forest Creek and and the neighborhood is extremely community oriented. Forest Creek Elementary school has an Exemplary rating. Blackland Prarie is the Middle School and the new Cedar Ridge High School is coming in 2010 w/ a new Principal that has an excellent reputation preceeding him. For the west side of Round Rock, there is a new gated community named Arbor Place that will be beautiful when built out. There is also Hidden Glen, Wood Glen or Plantation. Walsh Ranch is another beautiful community!

I work and live in the Forest Creek, Forest Ridge and Lake Forest area of RR. These subdivisions have beautiful high end homes. The schools are outstanding and RRISD is even building a brand new high school right down the street. You really need to check out this area. It is RRE. I think you will really like what you will find and there are some really good deals on homes at the moment.

Tough answer! All of Round Rock is great! My favs are Behren's Ranch, Hidden Glen, Plantation, Forest Creek, Sonoma, Sendera Springs, Oaklands, Stone Canyon and Great Oaks. Wood Glen and Tonkawa Springs are cool also.
