What is the great neighborhood in Flower Mound?

I am planning to buy a house in Flower Mound and looking to spend $250-$300K. Which subdivision in Flower Mound is desirable and has great investment value? I have two school-age children, so we need a good school.

I've lived here for over 24 years and there are a lot things going into what each individual would consider a Great Neighborhood. If you want golf views, it's Bridlewood but you may not get much house if any. Wellington has some nice features with a clubhouse, parks, and community pool. But for $300K you could get more house, 10,000sf Lot, and a community park and pool in Stone Hill Farms. There are also quite a few smaller subdivisions around Flower Mound that are equally fantastic, you will just need to sit down with a good agent that has lived in Flower Mound and knows the area very well. They should be able to show where the values have increased or decreased and amenities around and in the community. You might want to talk to few agents before you make your decision. Then you could build off the input from each of them.

That really depends on if your looking for homes with or without an HOA. Also depends on if your looking for newer homes or older homes. Too many variables to really be fair and give you a PAT answer. Give me a call and I will help you - 972-679-9029

Welcome to our town. I live in the Wellington area of town and here are some great Elementary schools that I feel very sure you would like....Wellington, Liberty, Bluebonnet. There are also a some great areas of town North of Main St....(.Bridlewood, Highland Village).

Hi, my husband was recently relocated to the Dallas area and we have been trying desperately to buy a house in Wellington from SC where we are still living. However, every time we find a new listing online, call our realtor and try to make an offer, someone else has beat us to it! Do you know of any houses going on the market in the area in the 300-330 range soon? Our house has already sold here and we are going to be homeless soon with 3 small children and a dog! I think all the communities are pretty nice in Flower Mound. It might depend on what works for you.
Do you want master planned communities, or unique homes with bigger lots? Do you want to live in North or South Flower Mound. Do you want a community with an HOA or prefer none.

Off the top of my head I would probably say Wellington in this price range. You'll likely be closer to the $300K number than $250, but there are plenty of other neighborhoods that might work for you.

Flower Mound is full of great communities. There are many websites that you can visit to get school information on how they rate. Once you have picked the schools you would like to attend, a good Realtor can find homes within your selected zones. As far as investment value, your Realtor can do a number of analytical studies in the areas that you choose to see if the homes have a history of being a good investment.
