Hi Sophia,
With the given info provided if you prefer to join a country club privately and use these ammenities regularly then living in a Country Club community is a great choice. The fees are well worth it to enjoy 5 star ammenities. There great homes for sale at both communities with a wide variety of styles. If you are not an avid golfer and tennis player there are always less expensive clubs you can join if you buy outside of the community. Feel free to contact me to discuss your needs to better assist you.

Because Boca West in Boca Raton has more golf courses (4) than Broken Sound Country Club (1), your chances of getting a teeing off at the time you prefer are greater in Boca West.

Both require up front equity fees and annual club dues, though those of Boca West are somewhat higher. Homes in both communities require that HOA fees be paid quarterly or monthly.

As far as socializing goes, Boca West has approximately double the the number of homes that Broken Sound in Boca Raton has, so you are likely to meet more people simply based on population.

Because of that the higher number of residences, the variety of homes in Boca West is greater. That variety is also based on the fact that Boca West is divided into 54 distinct villages, and many different styles of condos, townhouses, villas, or single family homes.

Broken Sound is divided into 27 villages with estate homes, vllas, patio homes, town homes and condominiums

However, both are very elegant country clubs and both have beautifully kept grounds and clubhouses.

Broken Sound just redid its clubhouse. Boca West refurbished its clubhouse just about 5 years ago, so both clubhouses are up to date and offer excellent facilities as far as gym, pool, spa, and dining go.

Costs of home in Country Clubs have fallen dramatically within the last 5 years, and either club offers a sufficient variety of homes across all price ranges, depending upon the type and size of home you prefer.

Broken Sound is a mandatory membership country club with one golf course, 1600 homes, one main dining room and a brand new fitness senter and resort style pool. Boca West is the original country club community in Boca with more than 3300 homes, four golf courses, eight restaurants, and a world class spa. There are major differences between the two, as with most of the country club communities.
