What is the deal with FindIre.com? There are a few listings in my area that seem very under priced and there are no MLS numbers and very limited

Several listings in the Phoenixville area that seem very under priced. No MLS numbers or additional information. Is this a scam?

Actually, if you click on property details on the FindIRE website, you will find the MLS numbers. I checked a couple of them and found that to be true.

Hope that's helpful. Good Luck.

Good Morning Bob,

As Terrence stated below the best way to locate homes that are for sale is through a Realtor. We have the complete list of homes that are available. I actually went onto the website to take a peek. I put in very specific search criteria in Phoenixville and found no homes that matched. I don't know where they are getting their information or what their objective is however I can tell you that it is not an inclusive list of homes as 4 of my listings right here in Phoenixville did not even come up onto the site.

My experience has always been, with everything not just Real Estate, that if something seems too good to be true then it usually is. There are many sites that list "ghost" homes that are underpriced in an effort to bring people into their sites. Many people even pay for a list of foreclosures when in all actuality foreclosures are listed on the MLS with Realtors.

It costs the buyer nothing to be represented by a Buyer's agent so why would anyone pay for a list that is incomplete and inaccurate. It truly does waste alot of time and causes frustration. If you are in the market to purchase a home, align yourself with a local experienced Realtor who can send you listings via email the minute they come onto the market and who will take the time to explain all that is involved in purchasing Real Estate. They will be sure that your transaction gets to the settlement table and that all proceeds smoothly. A good, Full Time, Experienced Realtor will provide you with invaluable information.

Good luck with your search and if you feel I can be of assistance to you I'd be happy to help!

The best way to find homes for sale in your area is through a real estate agent. You can get the listing the same day they come on the market.
