I recently took a picture from an oceanfront house on the boarder of North Beach and Harvey Cedars. You can see the dramatic difference between the two beaches (North Beach having not been replenished). The link below will take you to my Facebook page so you can see the link.

The beaches of Long Beach Island are some of the best on the east coast. Most of LBI has gone through beach replenishment as of 2014.

The Harvey Cedars beaches are in fine condition, after the replenishment two years ago. There is a similar project in place in Brant Beach. Feel free to contact me with any other questions or needs on LBI!

After substantial beach restoration in 2010 they're great! Follow this link to see some pictures of the Harvey Cedars beaches...

The beaches are, clean wide and beautiful. The dunes are higher than usual due to the replenishment project in order to protect beaches and homes. While all the beaches on Long Beach Island are beautiful, Harvey Cedars is in a quiet less commercial location.
