FIRST ANSWER
Depends on the type of home and the location. Ranches are usually the most expensive per sq. ft. The 2 story homes are next highest and the old tri and bilevel homes the least expensive. Age and condition also plays a major roll. So with that being said homes range from $70 to 120+ per sq. ft and many of the newer homes in the higher price ranges could be up into the $150-200 per sq ft.
