Both are great communities. I think the traffic from N Raleigh to RTP might be a little more congested. I have sold homes in the Regency area of Cary and in N Raleigh and people just love it here. If you make it down to the area, you should look at a few homes in both areas and see which one suits your personality.

Feel free to contact me directly anytime if you want help or have questions.

Best of luck.

It depends on what is more important to you. Both have an easy commute to RTP. Chatsworth is located in North Raleigh, an area with larger lots and a more rural setting not far from Falls Lake. Renaissance is clustered closer together on smaller lots. Both have large, elegant custom homes, although Renaissance has a wider range of housing choices. If closer proximity to Cary is important, then it could be Renaissance. If you want a more spacious estate setting, it could be Chatsworth. There are many, many other similar neighborhoods that you should consider before making a decision. Visit http://www.TeamForYOUrDreams.com for more choices.

Renaissance in cary is located on Symphony lake and includes Estate homes, manor homes and the newly released cottage homes. prices start at $390,000 for the cottages to over 1 million for the estates.
Chatsworth homes are any where from 6000-8000 square feet and most are over 1 million.
Both are wonderful communities with great amenities and the commute to RTP is approximately the same. Renaissance provides easy access to shopping and restaurants and entertainment.
I'm a former New Yorker and I love living here.
I would be happy to assist you in your home purchase.

They are both very nice but are two very different communities. Homes in Chatsworth have larger lots and the homes feel more like "estate homes." Homes in Renaissance are built by custom builders, but are on smaller lots. The big advantage to Renaissance is that you are closer to more shopping, restaurants and amenities than Chatsworth. I service both communities, and would be happy to discuss them in more detail.

While neither area is particularly urban, it would seem to me that easy, quick access to retail, services, and entertainment would be better in Regency. The Koka Booth Amphitheater borders Regency, for example.
Chatsworth offers great natural beauty.

The commute to RTP would be just about equivalent between the two areas.
