What is a "60 day letter"?

In lending it's the letter from a homeowner's association that assures the lender that they would give 60 days notice to the lender if they were to attempt adverse action against the homeowner. Many lenders have stopped taking this document and now require full subordination by the HOA. It's usually an issue that can come up in cash-out refis here in Texas, not in purchases...

usually a referrence to vacate within 60 days.
