What elementary school in East Brunswick is the best? Thanks

Asked by Rrodriguez646, New York, NY Tue Dec 18, 2012

I've been told they are all good. But there has to be one that is better than the other.

Best - Well, everyone you speak to in any town and in any state will tell you they live in the best school district and the school their children went to is the best. I can give some insight on my experience in the area.

I live in the Frost area and when looking at homes, I went to the local schools at the time they exited, noted the area, the kids, spoke to some of the parents and things like that. I then confirmed the area I wanted to live in.

From an education, teacher child ratio, updated with smart boards and all types of technology, school activities I would rate Frost Elementary excellent. My kids did very well at this school, the teachers were fantastic and the kids in the area were great.

After the elementary (Grades 1-5), all kids in East Brunswick go to Hammarskjöld Middle School (Grades 6&7), which is in Frost and is a brand new school. After Hammarskjold all kids then go to Churchill Junior High School (Grades 8&9) then to the High School.

I suggest that you continue your due diligence, check out the http://www.ebnet.org where you can get into some details on each school.

Feel free to contact me directly and I will try to answer any questions that you may have on each school in the area. I know a lot of people in town as I coach both basketball and baseball in the area. So I have interaction with parents and children from all areas of town.

Give a call!

Thank you for the response. I hope to reach you soon. My husband and I are still deciding if this is the town for us. In the meantime, there are a few properties that we would like to take a look at in EB. Would you be able to help us in our house hunting! I'm not working with an agent yet. I will send you an email with our information.
Thanks,
Ruth

All schools in the East Brunswick system are rated very highly. Memorial Elementary School is the newest, just opening this September. (There was a fire a few years ago, so they decided to redo the entire building). Everyone is going to have their own opinion about which school is best. However, living in East Brunswick my whole life, I have not heard specific complaints about any of the schools in particular.

Hi there, with my own children in East Brunswick school system (one recently graduated), can say they really are all great schools with great testing scores. All the classrooms are equipped equally. The school website has a lot of info and statistics of students testing and higher education acceptance. http://www.ebnet.org

To be honest it would be very difficult to determine if one is better than the other because all the elementary schools in East Brunswick use the same criteria for programs and hiring teachers. Also with the Elementary school attendence being dependent on region, if you favored one over the other, that would mean you would have to purchase a home in that region. Best of luck and if you have any further questions, please do not hesitate.

All are Blue Ribbon award winning schools.

East Brunswick highly values their schools. As somene who grew up in town and whose children have attended both the parochial and the public schools in town,I can honestly say they are all excellent. Most of the elementary schools are blue ribbon and those that are not are in process, I would concentrate more on the style of home and the area's of town that you like. East Brunswick's educational programs will prepare your child for either college or vocation which ever they choose and you guide them to.
