What does "Waikiki zoned X-6 commercial hotel" mean?

Asked by Mike Solstice, Hanford, CA Tue Nov 6, 2012

Does that mean the condo absolutely has to be used for commercial purposes or can it be owner oc?

Aloha Mike,

This property is leasehold. That means you don't own the land, you lease it.
The lease expires in 2026, so you would give up the property at that time.
It can be owner or tenant occupied. Maintenance fees are $541/month.

Mahalo Frank, that explains the low price tag; I'd imagine short of hard money it'd be almost impossible to secure a mortgage with only 13 years left on the lease. Guess I'll keep hunting :)
