Waukesha Cou…, Home Buyer in Pewaukee, WI

What constitutes a bedroom for the purposes of listing a home? If it has a window, closet, but may be used a a walk-through to the bathroom in a 1930

It's a 1930's home and the bathroom was added later, of course. The room in question has a window, a closet and two doors. It is also a walk-through for one of the parties in a bedroom to walk through (or they could use a downstairs bathroom.).

Good evening,
The way I see it, the room in question can be considered a bedroom if it is on the main or second level as long as it has a closet. Depending on how many other actual bedrooms there are, you might consider listing it as a den or sitting room. Some buyers may be turned off if they get there and find that it is a "walk through" bedroom.

I hope this helps answer your question!
