Hello, Yes, Kingsland has Gilligan's Island a recreational park open to the public for swimming in the lake. There is also a neighborhood called Waters Edge that has a 24 acre lake without swimming restrictions.
In Folkston there is the St Marys river on Traders Hill that is fresh water and also has a city swimming area. Brunswick has fresh water swimming as well as Richmond Hill.
All of Coastal Georgia has older Gerogian Style homes. Particularly Brunswick has Halifax Square which has many Victorian homes (old Georgian) http://www.glynncounty.com/cgi-bin/oaktree.pl?ID=00008495
St Marys has many historic homes built from the 1790's to homes built today to look like older homes. See the cottages on Dilworth as examples. http://www.camdenhomesource.com

Greetings!
I recently listed a registered historic property in downtown St. Marys at 314 Osborne Street. Built in 1801, completely restored and in the quiet, idyllic Historic District. You can view this home, which is also commercially zoned with an extra lot, on my website, or email me for more information.
Best regards,
Lou Finnegan
