As a general rule, the further you are from metropolitan areas, and the further you are from the coast line the lower the cost. There are inexpensive and expensive properties in most locales--inexpensive tend to be older construction, foreclosures, or in need of repair and/or updating. The most expensive tend to be closest to water or with a water view, with boating access, or beachfront property. In Florida the lesser priced areas would tend to be Holmes County, or areas in the Panhandle that are 25 miles or more inland from the Gulf. I hope this very general answer is helpful to you. If I can assist with any other information, do not hesitate to ask!!

Frankly, almost everywhere in Florida has properties at both ends of the cost scale. I suppose that one could calculate an average by county, but it wouldn't really mean very much.
What are you looking for? I specialize in Central Florida. We've got real estate for under $20,000 to well over $10 million. (Who know, maybe Tiger's place will be on the market soon?)
