What are the tornado prone and flood prone areas in Plano, Richardson and Garland?

I wish to move to either Plano, Richardson or Garland but wanted to know which areas are prone to flooding and tornadoes.

You can check FEMA or the city for flood plain. Another good source is to contact your insurance guy, she/he will be able to tell you. As for tornadoes, it will be hard to predict where and when it's going to come.

Check out the 100 year flood zone map. I have lived in the area most of my life, never have been in a tornadoe. However, weather is changes from moment to moment in Texs.
