I can speak from experience. I have a three level vacation home that I am now living in and its up for sale. I rented on my own, there are many web sites. Most of the rental companies take 30%. I had great success and repeat clients. All of the coast is pretty but I believe Lincoln city really draws people due to the outlet mall and the two close casinos. We also have a lake , bays and river all in the same town. LC has a nice variety of shops, antique stores, excellent restaurants and you have great little towns both north and south of LC. Mine is a very unique home on .26 acre. I provided everything clients needed except for their food and clothing. My feedback was the privacy, beautiful yard, ocean view and just a short walk to the beach. I also opted to allow pets which many don't. My yard is all fenced and very pet friendly. Families love to bring their pets to the beach with them. The con's there are times when it is not rented but if you market correctly you can make good deals for your past clients,, or use the down time for your own R and R. Hope this helps you. Seafairy

Yahacts has better cache than Waldport my friend. What are you looking to do? Get a home for yourself? Or would it be a vacation rental? Well Yachats is Nice. Waldport is a working mans town by reputation. There are better places like Bandon! Or Lincoln City and Newport. many of our Coastal Buyers come from Portland and Seattle on the weekends and therefore the North Oregon Coast is the #1 selection. The smaller towns like Manzanita and Gearhart are held in the highest regard and Ocean Side and Pacific City are rigth there to. Do you need help? I can get you properties or a great broker referral if you need. Just email me or contact me through the website!

regards Bb and welcome to Oregon! The Coast is amazing.
