HI Laura,
The millage rates for Slidell are as follows as: The 2003 millage rate for the City is 34.15 and the Parish is 168.40.
If you go to the St. Tammany Tax Assessors website: http://www.stassessor.org
there is a spreadsheet that you can plug the above numbers into and it will calculate your taxes. I hope this is helpful. If you need anything else, please do not hesitate to contact me via email at jbegovich@erastirling.com
I look forward to hearing from you. Thank you for your trust -- Jeannie

The property tax rate depends on several items. Is it in the city limits or not? In what fire district is it located? In what recreational district is it located? Just to name a few. The best way to determine the tax current millage is to visit the tax assessor's website (http://www.stassessor.org/assessor.php) and enter a property address. Using "property description" you can enter a subdivision or use the drop down menu to enter a street name or specific address.
If you have questions or need help navigating the website, don't hesitate to contact me at kracine@kw.com
