I would say Avalon Park/Pines is one of the nicest neighborhoods in SSF. It is located on the West Side of El Camino right off of highway 280 and Ponderosa Elementary School is located within this neighbrohood. I would say the price range is a bit more then your entry level, so if you are looking for an entry level neighborhood, I would recommend Brentwood which is located on the West Side of El Camino and also in the Ponderosa Elementary School area. Buri Buri would be another great neighborhood also located on the West Side and very close to highways. Growing Up in Avalon Park, I may be a bit partial, but very familiar with the area, so if you have any additional questions feel free to contact me. Buri Buri is a nice area. They also have a very good Elementary school. The location is also good, better weather, and close to 280, El Camino Real, and not far from 101 either. You are also close to shopping, Kaiser Hospital, and also BART.

If you don't have little children, then you might move further East off Hillside to the newer area near the mountain.

It really depends on your want and needs, and what price range you are looking in. If you have further questions, feel free to give me a call. If you are also looking in San Bruno, then I would say Mills Part, or Huntingon Park, for good areas and a good bang for your buck. The best area of San Bruno is Parkview. The homes there usually run from $800,000 up.

Good luck,
