What are the higher end sub-divisions in the Brownsville area? Gated communities etc? Looking to buy.

Rio Viejo is a quiet neighborhood with fairly large lots. Quiet and larger streets than most any neighborhood in brownsville. Establised neighborhood where you feel like you are living in a large park yet you are pretty center in town.

Fox Hollow, Villa de Resaca are gated communities. There are a couple of new developments planned that will also be gated, but construction hasn't been moving fast. The Woods is not gated, but there is an abundance of homes for sale in that area. Feel free to contact me at laura@bobtorres.com for assistance.

The ones that I know are very nice are "The Woods" "Fox Hollow" and another one that is called "Villa de la Resaca" these are newer neighborhoods but there are also older ones that are nice like "Palo Verde" "Creekbend" and the area around Palm Boulevard like Rio Viejo. Also there is Rancho Viejo, Valley Inn Country Club and the Brownsville Country Club. All of these last ones are golf courses.

Hope that this helps you out.
