Rawboneltc - No real estate agent or anyone for that matter can truely answer your question but you. Your question is subjective and requires an answer based on personal opinion. If you asked 5 people this question you might get 5 different answers. My suggestion would be to identify the adult communities in the area and visit them. Talk to the residents, talk to the folks at the Assocation/Managers office. Get an up close and personal experience with each community and then you can make the decision as to which community is BEST for you and your lifestyle. Don't forget at the end of the day your opinion as to which neighborhood is better is the only one that matters, you have to live there. A bit of a tip. Make sure that the community is registered with the Florida Commission on Human Relations. Any community that claims to be a 55 and over coummuntiy must register as such. Make sure you know what the HOA fees are. Some communities have very expensive fees. Not knowing what you are looking for (condo, manufactured, single family) I included a link below that will give you all available 55+ listing on my MLS. If you have any questions or need any further information please let me know. I'd be happy to work with you.
