During your Buying process you should estimate what it would cost to remodel the house to your liking.
You will also have an Inspection Company to check over the property. And then of course are the closing cost.

Any remodeling costs, Title Escrow costs, lending costs, property taxes, any HOA dues, and expected utility bills - for starters. Recommend looking up a local agent to help you with the specifics, but those are the basics.
