Hey Jim,

It's not as moderate as LA but not as wet and grey as Portland either. Most of the year it's sunny and between the 40's and 80's. Winters can get down to the 20's and a weather forecast of ice or snow will shut everything down. Summers can get into the 100's but all of the buildings are air conditioned.

Our economy is booming and we weren't hit by the recession nearly as bad as the rest of the country so we have people from flocking here from both coasts.

If you are looking at moving to Frisco that is a great choice... right next door to Frisco is McKinney and Money Magazine has rated McKinney the #2 Best Place to live in the country... Check it out http://money.cnn.com/magazines/moneymag/best-places/2012/sna…

Hot and Dry in my opinion, but that might depend on where you're moving from.

You might check out this website for temps and humidity averages.

Bruce Lynn, Real Estate Pro in Coppell, TX
Mr. Jim,

As an agent who's an expert in the North Dallas area after relocating from the East Coast, I bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise about buying and selling real estate. My family relocated her back in 2007 from snowy Boston but was extremely humid in the summer. The temperature here in Texas definitely varies but less humid than the East Coast and even the Houston area which I also lived in 1992. DFW to me always seems like there is a beautiful wind so even when temperatures are HOT there is relief with a nice breeze. It's not the same everywhere, so you need someone you can trust for up-to-date information. My communication skills, expertise in negotiations, extensive knowledge of local neighborhoods, market conditions, property values as well as caring and concern about my clients are key attributes which distinguishes me from others.

I do the extra little things and go the extra mile to set myself apart in the industry, always proactive, listening carefully and available day or night to fulfill my clients’ dreams. It is my mission to consistently provide the highest quality, most innovative and exceptional real estate service. Clients' needs always come first! I always strive to provide value far in excess of my clients' expectations. Keenly focused on finding the right solution every time, I will always be the consummate professional delivering results to you with my cornerstone values of integrity and ethical business practices.
Please email, text or call and I will provide you with more information and gather more details from you.

After relocation to Texas, my family moved into the Trails of West Frisco and love everything about this subdivision and I now specialize as a neighborhood specialist.

On average the temperature in DFW during summer is in the high 90's to low 100's and typically isn't humid. Of course there are always days that will make it humid.

If you do not live in the area and would like to have a feel of it before deciding to move then I would suggest that you come and visit during summer. That will tell you whether you can tolerate the heat or not. I did that a long time ago before I decided to move here and I'm glad I did.

Let me know if you decide to relocate here and would like some guidance in purchasing a home. Many of my clients are relocators and part of my service to my clients is to educate them about the area as well as guiding them throughout the process of home purchasing.
