Housing prices in the Bend-Redmond area are down like they are all over the US, but this is a growing and vibrant place to live, not to mention one of the most beautiful high desert areas anywhere. My wife and I retired here in 1995, and are moving because of family and personal reasons to Boise. We have our home on the market and as a retired CPA have made myself aware of RE prices. This gives you enough background about me, so you know when I say homes are selling for about 90-95 % of listing in all three cities you can rely on it. I have in front of me the sales from January 1, 2009 to June 15, 2009, for the entire Sisters area the average selling price compared to listing was 92%. The most expensive was $1,375,000 and the lowest was $190,000.
