The first step in home buying is always to get pre-approved. This will allow you to know what you are qualified to spend as well as help you to decide on what you can afford in a payment each month.
Many homebuyers start searching for homes before they know and then end up either shopping over their spending limit or purchasing a home beneath their limit and end up having to move sooner than later. So it is always a great idea to start with a lender. If you would like some referrals of lenders, I would be happy to do so.
After you are pre-approved, then you can start looking for a home. It is always a good idea to look for a qualified Realtor. There are many out there and many specialize in different areas of real estate and locations of cities. Make sure the Realtor you shoose is familiar with the area you are interested in.
If you need help in finding a home in the San Antonio and are looking in the North Central, Northwest, and I-10 Corridor. I would be happy to assist you. I also am familiar with the Cibolo area. If you are looking in others areas, I can refer you to other agents as well.
