Lenders are more focused upon self-employment income than they have been in the past. The strongest suggestion that I could make is to have your CPA sit down with your lender and have the two of them review your "actual net income." Often when prospective Buyers submit loan information, especially self-employed Buyers, a detailed explanation needs to be made so the income that might have been structured in a way that lowers net income, and thus might result in lower taxes, is understood by the loan officer.
