We received a mortgage committment letter with conditions - survey, title, title insurance, hazardinsurance, copy of pension award letter. We just sent in all the paperwork they asked for. Can they come back again and ask for another round of docs on other issues or should have been included in the 1st phase of the conditions?

Not working with a real estate agent, are you. Sometimes they will ask for things which have already been done. Call them directly to get it rectified.

Cathy,
Mortgage lenders can ask for just about anything these days. If you are getting a credit for repairs they may ask why. The conditions on from the banks are under a magnify glass at this point. Just provide them with as much information they need, and don't make any changes to your credit report until after closing AKA don't open any new accounts or close exsiting ones. Good Luck With Your purchase.
