We're looking into a Mortgage assistance program that will help with a down payment, but only in
unincorporated areas of Orange County. Trabuco Canyon is listed as one of these areas--but we can't seem to get a clear answer as to whether any or all of the Portola Hills area, which is called Trabuco Canyon, would qualify. Anybody have any thoughts or insights?
The answer is it depends on which mortgage assistance program you are using. I'd be happy to determine which areas fit your program if you would like to contact me. There are also several programs available that cover most areas in Orange County but which do have income restrictions.
