I think David is correct on this one. Allthough I am a resident of Cherokee County, my wife spent many years with the Cobb County School System. She is now finishing her PHD this year and is a Faculty member at Georgia State University in Atlanta. I know that Cherokee County recently surpassed Cobb County's test scores. Cobb is a great school system aside from that fact though.

Have you looked at East Cobb? When we moved to Georgia from Texas several years ago, we looked in many areas in and around Acworth. A friend suggested we look in East Cobb. The scores are some of the highest in the country! You're basically getting a private school education at a public school price. You get a little less home for the money because of this...but it is well worth it when you consider your childs education!
