Listed price was 440,000. With this limited info and in a declining market, does it sound like a good deal?
Hello Pinks,
First, if you used an agent to help you buy the house you should have looked at comps BEFORE you put in your offer. Whether you did or not DON'T HAVE BUYERS REMORSE NOW!
If you bought in WWP it is one of the strongest areas in Central NJ so be happy you got in at that price for a 4 bedroom, 3.5 Bath house... GREAT DEAL!
Now...
Robert is 100% correct! a "Good Deal" means so much to so many people. Is it Price & Value or is it function for price or is it square footage and price... where does condition come in? Do you include the school system in the value, the transportation, shopping, etc... ? Too many variables so it is too subjective of a statement/question. If you are in WW-P for a 4 bedroom 3.5 Bath... I would say that is a GREAT Deal depending on condition. I just checked the MLS and didn't see the property.
send me your address and I will tell you more information - unless you are pending so your agent & appraiser should be able to verify your deal.

Did you mortgage the home? If so, it is the Appraiser's job to make sure that you did not pay more than the current market value. To answer your specific question..."is it a good deal?". Difficult to answer. A "good deal" is a very subjective statement. Ask your agent for a list of properties sold within the last 6 months in your community and you will be able to make your own determination.
Enjoy your new home!

You got a home for your family, just be glad with it and live with it. Do not look back , its called buyers remorse
At least you paid $50000 more in today market, do you know what $50000 means, it is a MB E class.
Can you expand the community name, I can look into current sales record of that community. send me an email dev@devrealtor.com
