resolved? The closing on the purchase is being significantly delayed due to this - at no fault of ours (buyers.)

Sadly, title issues are often not discovered until close to closing, and depending on the issue, can affect how long to close. Without more details of what the issue is, can't advise if it could take 1 day or 1 year to resolve. Talk to the closing attorney and ask for his input into a time frame for the delay, hopefully he can help you understand the problem and how long it will take to resolve.

If you are purchasing a mobile home on a lot (parcel of land)... the mobile home is personal property in NC unless it is permanently attached to the foundation, tongue removed and wheels removed. If you are just purchasing the mobile home and not the land... it is like purchasing a car.

If the land is rented and the mobile home attached... you will be assuming the lease (relative to how the lease is written) with the purchase of the mobile home.

Can you be a little more specific as to the delays of the closing?
