Have you considered Harrisburg, NC? We are open to leasing our home - its only 2 years old - 4 bdroom and 2.5 bath in a great neighborhood. My parents live in Old Stone - there is a bunch of foreclosures there - but I guess that is almost everywhere now. We opted to move out of Charlotte-Meck and got a great price on our home; however, we are moving to Raleigh, NC due to work. If you haven't found that home your looking for - and ours is not what you want - I would consider Harrisburg, NC - its right next to the Charlotte border and has all the benefits of a small town.
