I live in Fleming Island which is only a miles north of Green Cove Springs. I chose to live here because all of the schools my kids will go to from K-12 are A rated schools. There are a number of A rated schools in Clay County and many are close to Green Cove Springs. You have a lot of choices in this area.

Click on the link below to go to the Florida Department of Education website. You can search for any / all schools in Clay County and see which schools you want your kids to go to. From there I'd be happy to help you find homes that are currently zoned for those schools.

Fleming Island is the place to be! Excellent school system and very nice, newer family community. Fleming Island Plantation is located just north of Green Cove Springs. It would be very convenient to your husband's new job. I have included a link below to Clay County Public Schools.

Lake Asbury are is a excellent plawe to start! Fantastic A schools, friendly folks & nature. Its a wonderful area with about a 20-25 minute drive from Orange Park Mall & 40 mins from St. Augustine 20 minutes from Green Cove Springs...I live in Lake Asbury, I HIGHLY recomend it:) ..Big park across from the elementry school, new middles school too. There are several neighborhoods to choose from. In all price ranges, builders selections to Foreclosures, some really GREAT bargains to choose from.
