Leeanna Dunk…, Home Buyer in Frisco, TX

We are looking to purchase land to build a home. Do I have to get two separate loans or can I get 1 loan for both?

Leeanna,

You can get one loan for both, and I highly recommend that method. I have helped many clients through this same situation, and I can tell you, you want to get one loan if you can. It's not very easy to get a loan for raw land right now.

Please feel free to call me and I'll be glad to share the details of my previous deals.

Hi Leeanna,

It's going to depend on where you decide to build - Are you going out in the country or trying to stay in Frisco? Give me a call - With a few more details I think I can point you in the right direction!

It all depends on how soon you plan to build after purchasing the land. There are loans where you can combine these. Speak to some lenders to find one with experience as the terms can vary greatly.
