bedrooms. Newer is always better.Let me know if you have any for me to see. We need to move quickly as my husband has already relocated and we have been living apart for two months and have two small girls.

Hi Cortney,
Welcome to Danbury, you’re going to love it here!
In the link below are the 12 homes currently on the market that are most likely to appeal to you.
My wife and daughter and I live in Aunt Hack/ West Danbury, where most of these are located. Our daughter will be 3 in December, so my wife is involved with several mother’s groups…we can help you with schools, babysitters, pre-schools, YMCA programs, play groups, and all the 411 on local and area attractions for kids.
Most of these homes are built in the last 20 years. The Sunset Drive home is older, bit it is also a Candlewood Lake property, (don’t trust the map in this house, its incorrect!) While newer is always better, if an older home that is completely updated is located better, (close to schools, shopping, and your husband’s commute)…I just want to be sure that you are aware of every home available, and make the most informed decisions without missing anything. http://cmls.rexplorer.net/REX$PUB/49/LYON1/pub/pub_8151414176.htm
Where does your husband work? Commute times and routes may open up other area towns for you, depending on other considerations, like schools…we have allot to talk about to help you make the best decisions!

Here's one other resource for you, my "newcomers" page: http://www.newcomers.info/lyon.html
I've been in the area for 16 years, and I've done real estate all over western Connecticut, but the majority of my business is here in northern Fairfield County. My brokerage, William Raveis, was the top producing brokerage in Danbury for first half of 2008, and is a member of all the major relocation networks. I've done relo work, so your relo through the company would not be any problem.
I'd be happy to chat with you at your convenience! Give a call and we’ll get you started off on the right foot towards your new home, on your terms!
Best Regards,
Bruce Lyon, GRI, ABR

Hi Courtney,
There are a number of nice homes in that price range. Some of the more upscale neighborhoods to look in Danbury (such as the King Street or Aunt Hack areas) may have homes that are a bit dated. What you need is a good buyer's agent who will be dedicated to helping you get familiar with the area so you can make an informed decision and also helping you pick the best property that will fit your needs (a lot more than number of bedrooms and year built). One resource we have is http://www.danburyrelocation.com, our company website that will help corporate transferees get a sense for what to expect when moving to Danbury. Hope it is helpful to you and good luck!! Please feel free to email me with questions or to schedule a buyer counselling session. - Dana
I have a wonderful house listed in Brookfield for $747,000. It's posted on Trulia. Love to show it to you. Give me a call!
Hi Cortney-
There are a number of homes in Danbury for you to consider that meet your needs, including a few contemporary homes, a few newer colonials and a few colonials from the 1980's.
