Massapequa Park, NY. We would like to obtain the services of a buyer's agent. How does that work? Do we have to pay a fee? Would we need two agents because we want to look in two different towns?

Hi Terri,
It all depends what areas the agents cover. I could get you an agent in those areas just call me and I will get in touch with my relocation department leading real estate companies of the world and they will get you a top agent. You do not have to pay a fee in Rockland for a buyers agent. I would have to find out about long Island. I doubt it. The seller usually pays the commission. Please call me on my cell phone: 914-261-4652 I'd be happy to answer any questions you may have.

PS Terry, you should not have to pay a fee to retain a Buyers Broker. When you hire a Buyers broker, their job is to act as your agent to find you a home in Nassau County. That broker gets compensated from the proceeds of the sale by the seller of the home you purchase.
