help of an experienced agent who can represent us through the buying process. How should we go about finding the best person to work with?
Dear Larry,
I would recommend everything Cindy said. I do live, work, and know Coronado. I also have moving experience as well. I was a Navy wife and moved 26 times over the course of my husband's career so I also understand the concerns of moving to a new area and what information you might like to have before making this decision.
There are many wonderful Realtors in Coronado. Working with one who understands your needs and puts you first is key.
Please feel free to contact me.

Hi Larry, I would recommend you work with a Realtor, first and foremost. All real estate agents are not Realtors and they do not adhere to the same Code of Ethics, rules and regulations that we Realtors must adhere to. Secondly, I suggest you work with an agent who lives and works in the Coronado community. Those of us who live here, raised our families here, know the idisycrasies of our city better than an agent who doesn't live in Coronado. Thirdly, it would be beneficial to you to interview 3 agents from 3 different companies and find someone whos "style" aligns with yours. You will be entrusting this individual with one of the biggest purchases of your life. Be sure you are comfortable on all levels with this Realtor. Finally, I would ask that once you've made your decision, you are loyal to that agent throughout the entire buying process. All of us put our hearts and souls, (not to mention our time), into doing what's best for our clients. We only ask that our clients do the same for us!

I think it is important to work with a Realtor who will listen to you, explain the buying process, be willing to spend as much time as you require to find the right home in Coronado, even if it takes a long time. Buying a home should be as stress free as possible with the assistance of the right agent. I not only work in Coronado but I also live in Coronado. I know this area well and the community. As a navy widow, and having moved many times, I can also help with relocation advice. Feel free to contact me for help.

Hi Larry,
In my opinion the most important thing when choosing an agent is trust. You and your agent need to work together as a team. Your goals should be paramount. You want to choose an agent that will take the time to sit down with you and go over the process of purchasing a home and answer any and all questions you have. Buying a home can be a stressful process, but a good agent eases that for you by educating you about the process and communicating with you throughout.
Experience is important when choosing an agent, but valuing and respecting your needs is paramount.
I hope this helps! If you'd like to see what my clients have to say about me you can go to http://www.theborellinigroup.com/Testimonials.htm

Hi Larry,
The best thing to do is ask your friends about agents they have used and whether they would use them again. People in our business will pitch their hearts out, however, your friends have nothing to gain or lose.
Thank you,

Hi Larry, I am a realtor in San Diego, I am not sure if you have found an agent to help you yet, but I would be happy to start sending you listings. I highly suggest that you ask for references from previous clients from an agent. I have references I can provide and 8 years experience. I also have a real estate partner, Sally Seethaler, so you get two agents for the price of one. You can visit our website listed below or send an e-mail to me with your contact information and what you are looking for so we can set you up. Thank You.
