We are considering relocating to Denver and looking at purchasing a new home in the Southeast area of Aurora,
close to 470 and Arapahoe St. There are a lot of different communities and builders in this area. Do you have any adivce on specific neighborhoods and builders? Is this a good place to live in the Denver Metro area? We want a nice community with beautiful homes in the $300-500s.

Hello Amanda,
I am not a realtor. We are also from California (Orange County) and we loved Tallyn's Reach. However, my wife couldn't deal with the weather (she's not a snow bird, I am o.k. with it since I am from Germay). The schools are great, the Southlands shopping mall is super (especially around Chrismas with the ice ring). We just relocated back to California to escape the snow and be closer to family. Our home is for sale right now, check it out at www.tallynsreach-home.com. Good luck to you and your family :) PS: We also had great neighbors. Amanda!
How exciting you are moving to Colorado. Welcome! Actually, I have been working a lot with clients in this area. I live down the street on C-470 and Parker Road. My lender lives in Tallyn's Reach! This area is amazing- you will love it. I have worked out pricing with at least four builders on some homes in this area and can help you get a good deal on some brand new homes- let me know if you would like additional information. I would love to help in any way that I can! Warmest Wishes, Sarah Wed Feb 20 2008, 16:46 Web Reference: http://www.sarahsolomonhomes.com

Amanda,
The area you are talking about is fairly new if you are looking at about a 2-4 mile radius. Most homes were built in this area from 1994 thru 2008. All the neighborhoods in this area are in the Cherry Creek School district. As you noted homes on the average are between $300-500s and even higher. An example of some of the builders who have built in this area are Richmond American Homes. Sanford/Beazer, Village Homes, Lennar and many more. You may even recognize some of these names. Depending where you look, your address could be Aurora or Centennial. for example in zip code 80016. Your address could be one or the other. There is a lot of other information available depending on what you want to research. If it is listings in the area Check out my website, and when you are on my home page, click on Find Your Denver Metro Home Now. If it helps you I have worked in the area you are talking about for over 17 years and have seen it grow and develop into a wonderful place to live. I live in the area you are interested in and have lived here for 10 years. It's a great place. Wishing you the best of luck. Wed Feb 13 2008, 20:08 Web Reference: http://www.billfung.com

Amanda,
There are deffinitley a lot of choices, and a lot of development going on around the area. Everything from schools, shopping center, golf coarses and a country club. Choosing a area to live in can be a little difficulty due to the variety of available homes on the market. I would consider any commuting distances first, secondly the type of activities you enjoy. Would you prefer a more established neighborhood or something newer. There are some really good deals available in the area due to the market condition and forclosure problem. As an agent who live in and specializes in south Aurora, I would be glad to help you narrow down your search. Wed Feb 13 2008, 12:22 Web Reference: http://WWW.HUS-PRO.COM

Hi Amanda,
I think you will find Castle Pines North to be a great opportunity although it might be a little more south than you were originally considering. Tallyn's Reach is also a wonderful neighborhood and is right where you are thinking. If you would like additional information on either of these neighborhoods or a simple, user-friendly interface to search the local MLS very specifically for properties that meet your needs and criteria, please let me know. I have tools available that you would find very helpful. Warm regards, Jody Wed Feb 13 2008, 12:12
