Can anyone comment on the various neighborhoods and their desirability (i.e.: Sutton Park, Avalon, Commonwealth Estates, Bridgewater, Austin Meadows, Williams Glen, etc.)

Hi Tara, those are all great neighborhoods around Sugar Land area. Avalon is probably the newsest out of them. And most the time homes go fast if priced correctly, I work inside Sugar Land with RE/MAX Solutions and would be happy to show a couple of the cummunities if you are not currently working with a realtor. My email is marissajames@remax.net or you call me at (662)316-8177. Good luck with your search!

Hi Tara, We just purchase a home in Commonwealth Park. On our street a house in the cul de sac had a contract within days of listing as ours was within weeks. Obviously, it is a desired area for that particular price range. To decide between these particular neighborhoods you might want to consider price (with or without rennovation) , which particular schools you want your children to go to, and your route to work. My husband goes up highway 90 to work so he cuts through to 90 as opposed to getting on 59 first.
We liked this particular area because we wanted Commonwealth Elementary, Ft. Settlement, and Clements.
This will be our first year to try the schools out but so far our exposure has been positive. We've been told many times that Clements is so competitive.....private school and college is very competitive also. Just to give something to think about but the price really it the main reason between all of these neighborhoods.

Schools seem to be your most important issue in your home search process. I can connect you to people who can answer specific questions related to the schools that you have enquired about. Besides, the top ratings of our schools in Fort Bend, the community provides lasting friendships for both parents and children, with a true sense of community, and community pride. I lived in Bridgewater as well as Commonwealth for approx 15 years. Our best friendships were made within this community for both our children and us. Neighborhood watch and gatherings take place to connect you to the people who play and live around you. Feel free to call me at 281-804-2315 for an immediate response, or e-mail me at Homes@HarshaNaran.com.
