Paul is right, except for the commission rebate. If a full-service realtor is willing to assist you and offer a commission rebate, you'd be foolish to not partake.....especially a broker who has 30-years experience in the business......it's a "no-brainer."

Any good real estate agent can help you to find, negotiate and buy your ideal home. Actually, you don't even need an agent to help you to find a home. You can search for homes at http://www.Realtor.com or any decent local agent will have the same or similar searching capabilities on their site. All agents will have access to the same listings. So, we will all find the same homes for you.
So, you may want to focus your efforts on finding the right agent to assist you first. You may want to interview a few until you find the one that will serve your Real Estate needs the best. Start with the agents who responded here. Once you start working with that one best agent, you will be supplied with enough infomation to enable you to make good real estate decisions and not be led by sales tricks, gimmicks or rebates.
In your potential quest for a good agent, you may want to consider allowing a full-time, exclusive Buyer's Agent to assist to prevent any conficts of interests where s/he may also represent the seller of the home you want to buy.

On the left side, you will see SEARCH OPTIONS & ADVANCED OPTIONS.

1. From "Advanced Options" go to "SELECT NEIGHBORHOODS" & add your zip code.
2. Then go to "SELECT FEATURES" & add your pool (and everything else you are looking for)
3. Then go above to your "Search Options" to choose the property type, minimum / max price, number of bedrooms & baths.

This will narrow down your search to the specific property you are looking for.

Be sure to switch to the "Aerial" view (zoom in to see the home in detail) & be sure you try the "Bird's Eye" view too. That gives you a 360 degree view of the home.

You can also click the "Recent Homes Sold" to see what homes sold for in the area.
