I will be more direct to your question. My opinion is that Greenfield is better. You are in a much better area and have many amenities at your convenience. Patrick is right on. However, if you do not mind being a bit our of the way of some of the fun and nice local benefits of Greenfield, Augusta ranch is nice, just not my cup of tea. I live in the area and wouldn't trade it in the world for Augusta. NO WAY NO HOW!!

S,

I would agree with most of what everyone else has said. The best thing to do, since none of us know what your preferences are, is to talk to an agent in more detail. You ask which neighborhood is nicer, it depends on your definition of nicer. Also, which neighborhood is more convenient depends on what they are convenient to. Without knowing, it is difficult to answer you questions.

If I were you, and looking for a golf course community, I would recommend that you look at both areas, and have an agent show you the neighborhood, as well as some of the homes currently for sale. It is always beneficial to drive through a neighborhood so you can get a feel for the area.

Let us know if there is anything else we can do to help.

Greenfield lakes, closer to San Tan shopping, Cosmo dog park , and all of the homes are in school district 41. I am not to sure on ALL OF THE HOMES in Augusta are for dist 41, because that`s Mesa, not Gilbert Like greenfield

Homes have better lot sizes, look at the streets they are just wider in Greenfield Lakes.

All in all the location is just a little closer to everything.

Did I mention the Golf Course? Only an executive course still nicer than augusta.

Hey that`s if it were my money.

Augusta ranch has some great qualitys also, it is a tough choice, however I am leaning Greenfield lakes.
Because of the golf course, Gilbert vs Mesa, and the School dist.

This really depends on the home, your preference, of Home and PRICE.

Here are the current homes in Greenfield lakes

There is a difference, in the amount of homes for sale skewed by the size of neighborhood

Good Luck

S,
Both communities are very nice. You should take a look at homes in both areas. You can find them on my website - it's the REALTOR® MLS and you can easily access it with no log-in required.

Ultimately, the answer will be up to you! :) Sorry - no right or wrong answer here. Both communities are beautiful golf course communities, Greenfield Lakes is in Gilbert, Augusta Ranch is in Mesa. Augusta will be closer to the 60 fwy, so if commuting is a concern, you might consider that. Price ranges are a bit different as well. Both communities have a spectrum of homes for sale, but Greenfield Lakes homes are a bit pricier than Augusta Ranch... keep in mind though, that price will depend on what type/size of home you are considering, and if a golf course lot is a must.
If you can tell me more about what is important to have in a home, I can give you more specific answers. Everybody looks for something different when they are shopping for a home.
