I saw your post earlier but wanted to wait for someone else from Augusta to respond because I'm in Metro Atlanta. The Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) fund program and the Metro Atlanta First Time Home Buyer Program fliers displayed to the left of the screen at my site below are actually statewide programs. There also may be local programs available, though none of them could possibly be as strong as the NSP program. If you like, I can do a lot of the pre-work for you from Atlanta and then get you in touch with an agent there. No worries about paying me because the agent to whom you're referred will pay a referral fee.
