Misty,

Contact the HOA to get a copy of the deed restrictions. If the lot is owned by a builder you may be able to get them from the builder as well. You can also contact the city building inspector for their city requirments. HOA requirements can be more restrictive than the city requirements so you'll want to check both.

FIRST ANSWER

A realtor would not be able to answer that question, contact the city for those questions. Unless there is a copy of deed restrictions where real estate agent could read all involved.
