Variations in property taxes.
We have been looking for homes in Brooklyn to buy. We are a bit confused as to why taxes vary so much even when the properties are in the same neighborhood.

FIRST ANSWER
The taxes in NYC are based upon a formula that uses a percentage of the value of the house to get the annual taxes.
