Is it possible to get a expedite VA appraisal in Dallas TX

Help the community by answering this question:

Once the appraisals are ordered, there is a 10 working day window that lenders are required to submit them back to the lender. However, that doesn't always work out that way. But we have no choice as to the appraiser we are assigned. So it really isn't up to the lender.
Now, if there was a delay in getting it ordered, or perhaps the payment wasn't received upfront in a timely manner, then the clock was already ticking.

Hello, I am a retired Army Vet and I have used my VA benefits two times, I also have a client who just used his. I know a lender who seemed to get the appraisals ordered and received in a timely manner.

You can always ask for one..... But VA appraisers are notoriously slow....

Hi Qy,

That will depends on which lender you are using. But its not uncommon to have delay with apprisal done. it takes easily one week or up to 2 weeks from my experience.

Just talk to the lender and work it out with them.
