Typically, will more houses come on the market in the HEB area after the holidays?

Tough to say....but yes that is likely. Busy season here is typically March-June. I think you will see people hold off until after the holidays to list. That's not alwasy a good thing though. I know some families want to buy and move before school starts back in Jan.

Do you need help finding that special house?

Thanks so much for your interest in the HEB area. (Hurst, Euless, Bedford--an area inTexas in the Mid-Cities area between Fort Worth and Dallas)

Historically there will be more homes on the market throughout the Metroplex after the holidays.

If you are considering putting your home on the market there are 2 ways of looking at the situation. Fewer homes, but people are still looking and buying, so it is sometimes a good time to have your home on the market even though it is more of a "hassle" showing it in the holiday rush.

If your are considering buying, probably after the holidays will be a good time to look because more inventory will become available. Although people who are willing to keep their homes on the market even during the holidays may be very anxious to sell and perhaps will negotiate on their price even more.....never know-all depends on their motiation.

Good Luck with your real estate endeavors!!
