Sorry, are taxes lower on non buildable property, looking at a vacant lot but taxes are very high

It will be based on the tax assessor's assessed value of the land. if you get your tax bill and you feel your assessed value is too high you can file for re-assessment to lower the tax base.
It is a good idea to check with that area's tax assessor's office.
