So for these houses that I see for $65K to around $80K, are those usually in good condition?

Asked by Emily, 85338 Thu Jan 20, 2011

Or are they usually too good to be true items? I've seen pictures of some of the houses in Tolleson and they look really nice. So I was just wondering. Thank you!!!

those pictures they don't tell you accurately the condition of the carpet and painting ($3.5k), and if no AC picture ($3k-$4K), plus a few holes here and there missing this missing that ($1.5K), plus appliances ($2K) ............... $10K easily

ps: did I mentioned the dirt backyard ?? well, another $2k and up
pss: plus $1.5k closing cost + $/loan cost

hummm...... pretty close to $20K now , so bid well and prosper :)

yes. And with an inspection for $150, you can confirm that. and make sure you buy home owners
"maintenance" insurance--so that for those items covered, the insur will pay for 80% of their
repair.
