Simple question: Is it more common for the buyer or seller to pay for a well inspection?

For a well inspection, is it more common that the buyer or seller would pay for it?

It is more common to have a seller do this in my experience. That being said, everything on that PA is negotiable. If I were a seller; I'd have the well and septic certified and compliant upfront.

Simple answer, it's more common for seller to pay for a well inspection.

More common that the seller pays for it.

However, as with all things depending on what side you are on with negotiations it is our responsibility to negotiate the best deal (duh I know)

In short sales probably more likely buyer since homeowner won't have money to put into deal. Better get that in writing right away.
