Should I submit an offer on a short sale with a contingency of the buyers home closing?

FIRST ANSWER

Hi Cindy, I will give it a try. Not written rules says: no contingencies but it will depend on the listing agent and seller to take or reject your offer. I had accepted the same situation before , 45 days after submission, servicer request the removal of contingency but at least I know the "approved" short sale price and terms.
Dont fortget that once the short sale is approved most lenders will require a 30 day closing.
